A brave new Japan — Total War: SHOGUN 2 and A Total War Saga: FALL OF THE SAMURAI updated to 64-bit on macOS

In anticipation of the release of macOS 10.15, two magnificent Total War games have been updated to 64-bit, using Feral’s latest code libraries and Apple’s Metal graphics API for a performance boost across all supported Macs.

  • Total War: SHOGUN 2 challenges its players to use political cunning and military brilliance to unify 16th century Japan under one undisputed shogun.
  • A Total War Saga: FALL OF THE SAMURAI brings the action forward 300 years into an epic clash of medieval and mechanised warfare.

If you are using macOS 10.14 Mojave, update your games now.

NAPOLEON and EMPIRE will also be updated to 64-bit in the coming weeks.

Begin your epic campaign with Total War: SHOGUN 2 for Mac, available now from the Feral Store and Steam. Total War: SHOGUN 2 Collection, containing all additional content including the Rise of the Samurai Campaign, is available now from the Feral Store, Steam and the Mac App Store*. DLC is available separately from Steam if you purchase the base game.

The moment is almost upon us. All additional content will be available in a premium version of the game, Total War: Shogun 2 Collection. Shrewd tacticians may pre-order the base game and the collection from the Feral Store.
