The Empire: Total War Collection redraws the map with a Linux release

In a brilliant tactical maneuver, the Empire: Total War Collection advanced on new territory today as the Linux version was released on Steam.

The epic strategy game, set against the turbulent backdrop of the 18th century, is the second Linux title to be developed and published by Feral, following the success of XCOM: Enemy Unknown earlier this year.

The Empire: Total War Collection is a SteamPlay title that runs on Ubuntu 14.04.1 and Valve’s SteamOS. The base game and all the add-on content, including The Warpath Campaign expansion, are available now from Steam.
