What is Calico?
Calico is Feral's cross-platform online gaming service. With Calico, gamers can play some Feral games against each other online, collect achievements and make friends.

Which games are compatible with Calico?
Feral macOS games on the Mac App Store have support for achievements tracked through Calico.
Calico also supports online multiplayer on iOS, Android and Switch games that feature online play.

How do I sign up for Calico?

How do I access Calico features in a macOS game?
To use Calico's online features in a macOS game bought from the Mac AppStore, log in via the Info tab of the pre-game Options window (this is the window that appears when you launch a game).
You can bring up the Calico overlay at any time by pressing Shift + Tab. From here, you can access all of Calico's in-game features.
Calico is not available in macOS games bought through Steam, as Steam has its own game matching service.

Do I need to download any extra software?
No. Calico is built into each supported game.

Can I play against other macOS players on Steam or against Windows and Linux gamers?
No. Calico currently only supports macOS multiplayer for games purchased through the Mac App Store.

How do I add someone to my friends list in Calico?
You can add friends either through the in-game overlay, or via the Calico section of our website. In either case, just search for the person you'd like to add under the Friends tab.

How do I edit my profile?
You can edit your profile by logging in to Calico on our website.
Once you're logged in, select Settings to edit your profile.

Who can view my profile?
By default, your profile is visible only to people on your friends list. You can change your privacy settings to make it public (so everyone can see it) or private (so no one can see it).

Can I view other players' profiles?
Yes. To view someone's profile, just click on their name in your friends list on the Calico section of our website. However, if their profile is private, you will not be able to see it.

Can I use an online avatar in Calico?
Yes. We have a selection of avatars from Feral's most popular games for you to choose from. Your avatar will be viewable by everyone you play with online, and on your profile.

What can I do if I am abused while playing a game?
You can block the person abusing you; this will prevent them from communicating with you again, and they will not see when you are online. To block someone, log in to Calico on our website and search for them in the Friends tab; you'll find a Block button next to their name.
Secondly, you should report the offending user to us by contacting our support team at: support@feralinteractive.com.

Is player information shared with anyone?
Feral may share your information with third parties in order to provide account services. For example, if you create a Feral Account in order to access online modes in Company of Heroes 2, your details will be available to Relic Entertainment, who manage the servers that run the game’s online modes.You can read our full privacy policy here: www.feralinteractive.com/en/about/privacy.
